A b o u t

Several years ago, like many of you, I found myself in my midlife overweight, grumpy, tired and achy. I would look in the mirror and not know the person staring back at me. My life consisted of taking care of my children, doing as little house work as possible and working. I had no hobbies, I never had enough energy to maintain close relationships, much less workout. When I was younger I was much more active. I would run, hike, bike and lift weights, but these had become distant memories. I would try to be active, however my knees and feet would pulsate in pain, so I did nothing. One day, I finally got tired of not recognizing the person in the mirror. I started on thyroid medication and bHRT. Just with this my pain was halved. I then received regenerative injection therapies in my knees and ankles.

I am now pain free. I have energy, which enables many aspects of my now active life. I recognize myself in the mirror and I have hope in what I can do. Hope that I can live a happier, vibrant, active, youthful life. This is why I do what I do… knowing many people who have a similar story.
